So what steps can you take to lead a healthier pregnancy during the third trimester?

The first thing Dr. Stanley Angus recommends is continuing to take your prenatal vitamins. He also urges pregnant women to stay active during the third trimester of pregnancy. However, if you experience swelling or pain, the amount of activity should be reduced.

Pregnant women should also consume a diet that is high in fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and fiber during the third trimester. And last but not least, Dr. Stanley Angus wants pregnant women in their third trimester to know that they should drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest and sleep.
